editThe notability of DM Cornish has been challenged, and I'd like to point out the list of reviews for Monster Blood Tattoo at this website (including Publishers Weekly[1] and Booklist) as well as a published review in Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald (Looking for a cure for the Harry hangover, 13 May 2006). The book has also been nominated for the American Library Association's "Best Book for Young Adults" award, 2007[2], and the Aurealis Award for young adult fiction, 2006[3], the latter of which it won[4].
I think all that classifies Cornish as a notable author, according to these guidelines.Tredanse 04:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- - have removed notability tag from article, as Cornish is definitely notable according to WP:NAUTHOR. Coolabahapple (talk) 04:07, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

More to Do!!
I believe there is a good scope for improving this article, as it is not very detailed. We can do better. I've read David's works, met him at the Aussiecon IV and heard him discuss them. There is good scope for improving Wikipedia by adding articles on the next two books in the Monster Blood Tattoo series, and on his illustration, which has a very interesting style. If I have time I will attempt these things, but am happy to cede that to others.
