Arguments against proposed merger
edit- I found the article on dBm to be very useful, with some extension the dBc article could be equally useful.
- I would say there is a clear distinction between the unit dBc and the phenomenon of phase noise.
- Given the lack of information in the phase noise article, I would say there isn't even short-term benefit to the merger.DJIndica 22:13, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- I see no point in merging this into phase noise. dBc is not only used when talking about phase noise. It's a generic unit. Romanski 11:13, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
SI
edit"Although the decibel (dB) is permitted for use alongside SI units, the dBc is not.".
Can someone add a "Instead, use XXXX" suffix?
