The page is usefull as a reference for the description of ODV (Ocean Data View) specifications and SeaDataNet, as it appears in both Wiki pages
Perhaps the page should be renamed "Data-Interpolating Variational Analysis" or DIVA (Data Analysis Software) - or both, with one redirecting to the other. From the looks of the homepage, the proper name for the software us just 'DIVA', and when a modifier is included in the title, it's in (parenthesis). Also, this is not the only software called DIVA. DIVA is also the title of a GIS Suite, a bioscience automation program, and a (now abandonware) Open Source Video Editor. It's a name that attracts backromyms like a magnet, and has probably been used in a number of other software applications, and will be used again in the future. It should be noted the first two currently appear first-page in a Google search for "DIVA software" but non-wikipedia pages about Data-Interpolating Variational Analysis do not.
