editHow is this already a good article? grantyO (talk) 18:47, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- My fault, I had copied all the cats from the first article, the GA mark was buried in them. --MASEM (t) 19:05, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- OK. --grantyO (talk) 19:11, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Cover art?
editAmazon has a logo, but I can't find the logo without the placeholder art. --grantyO (talk) 22:10, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- That has a very "not final boxart" look. This far out, I'd rather wait to see what else might come out. It would be nice to have the logo, but there's no version I can find yet to use. --MASEM (t) 22:31, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Yes!
edit"Leave Home" is my favorite song by the Chemical Brothers!!!! --grantyO (talk) 03:31, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

- Why don't you do it?--grantyO (talk) 18:18, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Just Incase it gets removed and I get banned or something lul ^_^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 900bv (talk • contribs) 21:37, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
New Mix
editThe Dj Hero channel posted a I Will Be Here/Speed Rail Mix. I just added it.900bv (talk) 19:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Song list
editThe unpaired song list should continue to remove songs once they have been affirmed as being in a mix as Activision reveals these mixes over the next month. A song may be duplicated in a mix (in fact, pretty much has to with 105 songs and 80 mixes), but once its listed in a mix, its still affirmed in the game. --MASEM (t) 21:35, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Mix- reference- 27
editI am deleting all mixes with reference 27 as there is a contest by DJ Hero were people must guess the mixes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zoomanj (talk • contribs) 15:24, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- The mixes are verifiable; we don't care if it is part of a content or not (and its not like there's other places people cannot learn that track info) .--MASEM (t) 15:39, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Question
editShouldn't the whole song list still be posted, incase a song is in multiple mixes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 900bv (talk • contribs) 21:32, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- No, as the only purpose of that list was to identify what songs are in the game. Any song listed in a mix is still fair game to be part of another mix, but it is expected that once Activision completes the mix announcement, all songs would be used and thus that list is no longer necessary. --MASEM (t) 21:37, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
New Avatar and Mixes
editAdded some info about RZA being a character and some mixes confirmed by the article (Ref 29)

- I found a better reliable source, but thank you for adding that to start. --MASEM (t) 15:31, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Daft Punk
editHeard a rumor Daft Punk will not be a playable model(s?) in DJ Hero 2. Can't find a source. Anyone confirm? --TJ 98.145.211.102 (talk) 22:17, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- More like they have never been mentioned as playable for this game, while several others have been explicitly so. So until it can be confirmed, we can't assume DP are playable. (They didn't even provide a mix this time around). --MASEM (t) 22:22, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Er, sorry. Meant 'does anyone have a source/know?' Personal curiosity. 98.145.211.102 (talk) 22:24, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

I'll review this article tomorrow. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 05:42, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Here are the issues I found:
- Crossfade is a disambiguation page, fix where that should link
- "and for a wide -genre soundtrack" i'm pretty sure the space isn't supposed to be there.
- "DJ Hero 2' " random ' can be removed
- "Several new competitive modes vie two DJ players against each other" doesn't sound quite right as worded; the players would vie rather than the modes.
- "David Guetta has stated that he is set to work on the game's sequel to arrive late in 2010." perhaps it should be noted who david guetta is since there's no wikilink (link him if there's an article)
- "While DJ Hero 2 will not use Kinect or PlayStation Move motion-sensing technology, Jackson has not ruled them out for a future iteration of the game." needs to be past tense, but I'm not sure if this should remain given the cancellation of the hero series.
- "Usher will be contributing his song "OMG" featuring will.i.am for DJ Hero 2," tense
- "DJ Hero 2 will be sold with various promotional items. Within Europe and select stores in North America, players purchasing the game in one of two bundle packages (either with one or two turntable controllers) will receive the predecessor DJ Hero free.[20] Other North American stores offer carrying cases for the turntables, MP3 versions of selected mixes, or redemption codes for in-game customization options." tense issues throughout para
- "DJ Hero 2's setlist will include 83 mashups from nearly 100 songs from about 85 different artists" tense
- "In addition, through an additional free add-on to be released in November 2010," tense (i presume it was released then as noted)
- Punctuation should usually rest inside quotes; a few spots in the repetition section have this issue.
- Some of the reference links seem to redirect elsewhere, see here. You don't have to fix them for this review, but it might be prudent in case the redirects are scrapped.
I'll put the article on hold and will pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:54, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- I've gone through and and fixed these. It should be careful that the series is not "cancelled". They shuttered their division that made these, but FreeStyleGAmes still exist and there's an option that they may come back in a year or so, future vision ideas aren't invalid. On the punctuation, most of these are partial statements from the reviewers so under the logical quote system we use, the period is part of "our" writing, not theirs, and thus is outside the quotes. I did run down and fix the redirected links too. --MASEM (t)
- Noted; I keep making that confusion on the series myself. Anyway, everything looks good now, so I'll pass the article. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 17:27, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
