Channels section
editI don't think the Channels section belongs here because the content is just a channel guide for the Sonic Tap channels on DirecTV. Perhaps it could be moved to a separate article referenced from both this article DMX (music) and the DirecTV article. --hulmem (talk) 13:34, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm glad to see it, though one site I go to said they added a second beautiful music channel after complaints. I know DMX has a traditional easy listening channel. And people who liked Escape from Sirius/XM weren't too happy with the other one.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 20:49, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
- What is the source for the channels list? I went to Sonic Tap's site link and it was just shopping, something totally unrelated to this article.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 13:49, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- I did some research and apparently the channel numbers are very specific and should be removed. For this article, I think it's appropriate to have the full list of channels, but without the channel numbers or the satellite longitude or package. I'll fix it later because that'll take time. Or someone might disagree.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:33, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
This comes from [1]. It's a mess; the library is closing.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 20:53, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
You don't have to have ESP to know what's playing on DMX MUSIC right now. It's easy. Just click on a channel to see the current track being played as well as the songs you just missed!

Okay, fixed. I just need a table, and some advice on what to do in the rightmost column.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 15:08, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Buzzwords?
editI'm a major contributor to this article, so I suppose I'm guilty. What can be done?Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 20:53, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Actually, looking at buzzwords, I don't think I'm the guilty one.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 13:48, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
Early 90's Home Music Service
editThere needs to be a section that talks about the home music service they offered to cable TV subscribers in the early 90's. I was a subscriber. They provided a tuner box which plugged into any stereo system, and a remote control that offered song title, artist, CD and track information in an LCD window. A picture of their remote and the Logo they used at the time can be found here:
The service was available on TCI Cablevision (Telecommunications, Inc.) and other cable service providers throughout the country. Not sure when and why it was phased out.
