editThis page could really do with a picture of the (still produced) pick up varient. Timffl 23:11, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
The pick-up model was discontinued in December 2006 - see the official Dacia site.
"Many of the car's versions still run today and they probably will keep on running for a long time" - Doesn't look very encyclopedish —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.81.23.50 (talk) 09:50, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

when did dacia start making this car
editIt says that Dacia acquired the tooling and design from Renault, and started making these models in 1969. Now usually in these deals where "tooling" was acquired, it was for the previous and superseded model. This was generally so, for all of the east european and turkish "fiats" and the iranian cars and many south american cars. But for Renault it says the Renault 12 was only introduced in 1969. Did they really introduce manufacturing of this car in France and Romania in the same year ?? It seems implausible, and I wonder if there has been a translation mishap in arriving at this description.Eregli bob (talk) 08:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
