editWhat is difference between this and Windisch technique? Miraceti (talk) 20:51, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Regarding the Daescher (or Windisch) technique, wasn't there a variation, perhaps in the 70s-80s, where the skis were held in parallel--but diagonally across the jumper's body rather than in parallel with it, in order to increase the jumper's surface area. This may be subsumed under the existing technique (or perhaps between Daescher an d Windisch), but I thought someone should bring it up, especially on the eve of the Winter Olympics. Either way I can appreciate how the V technique improved things still further. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.251.211.175 (talk) 20:46, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Proposed merger with new article (ski jumping techniques)
editI have created a new article—ski jumping techniques—in which to lump all the styles, as they are too small-scale and sparsely referenced (in some cases unreferenced) to warrant their own articles. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 00:58, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
