Stereotypical Japanese Face
edit"When Von Vultur opens the curtain, Daffy makes an ugly face similar to the stereotypical Japanese faces used in cartoons at the time (see, for example, Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips), causing Von Vultur to run off frightened." This is not correct, nor is it cited from any reliable source. Daffy Duck is using a variation of the pejorative English gesture known as "cocking a snook", it is not in any way a call-back to racial stereotypes in concurrent culture or wartime propaganda. Neither does it resemble the faces 'pulled' by Bugs Bunny in 'Nip the Nips'. This article is inaccurate, unsupported, and should be corrected or removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:189:8201:B000:10:ED37:329D:F2DA (talk) 04:49, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
