Dalbavancin is a mixture of 5 different molecules
editThe chemical and physical data and the chemical structure suggest that Dalbavancin is one defined molecule. However, as per the EMA public assessment report it is a mixture of five molecules: Dalbavancin A0 and A1, Dalbavancin B0, B1 and B2. They differ from one another primarily in the length and/or branching of their respective fatty acid side chains. See page 10 [1]
