The following Wikipedia contributor has declared a personal or professional connection to the subject of this article. Relevant policies and guidelines may include conflict of interest, autobiography, and neutral point of view. Their edits to this article were last checked for neutrality on 12 July 2022 by pemilligan.
There have been recent edits to remove the subject's marital status and spouse's name. From these I infer there has been a divorce. There's a minor conflict of interest issue in changes made by an account using the subject's name, which can be addressed at User talk:Dalyaattar#Edits to the page Dalya Attar. Here I want to address the lack of support for the changes. (I have not yet reverted the most recent changes.)
Wikipedia articles are derived from cited published sources. We have several sources in the article for the subject's marriage; we have no sources in the article for the changes, and I have found none online. Of note, the official biographies published by the Maryland General Assembly (legislative branch) and the Maryland State Archives (executive branch) both still describe the subject as married. If Dalyaattar is in fact connected to the subject, then it seems to me that changes to these official sources would be the right place to start.

A record of the divorce is online here[1] but the use of a click-off disclaimer form makes it problematic to link it in the article or to archive it. -- Pemilligan (talk) 18:12, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
