The tunnels

edit

The tunnels are 65 to 75 cm (26 to 30 in) in diameter? is that correct?--Alexandronikos (talk) 15:02, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I corrected this obvious unit error. The correct diameters are given in Roper et al 2001 [1]; the incorrect value listed here is an error (likely a typo) originating in Bennett & Jarvis 2004 [2] Olawlor (talk) 07:53, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Unit of basal metabolic rate

edit

The basal metabolic rate of Damaraland mole rats is also unusually low for mammals of their size, at just 0.66 cm3/g/h.

Unit should be energy per body mass and time: J / g · h. (I am not able to read the source text.)

Probably meant cm3 O2 / g · h. Corrected and commented. --Helium4 (talk) 05:35, 24 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
