Homeland Season 4
editI think that his work on Homeland should be stated as "2011-2014" because, although he was part of the main cast from seasons 1-3, in Season 4 he reprises his role. In fact, in IMDb Damian Lewis appears as part of the cast of Homeland between 2011-2014 ([1]). --186.78.138.129 (talk) 19:19, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
- First per WP:RS/IMDB that site cannot be used as a ref. Next he is in one episode of season four NOT the whole season so it is routine to list that separately from his time as a series regular. MarnetteD|Talk 20:04, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
Hatnote?
editThis page risks being confused with that of Damien Lewis (author).
How about adding a hatnote:
- This page is about the actor. For the author and filmmaker, see Damien Lewis
The author's page was created in February, 2015. Technically their names are different, but someone has redirected Damien Lewis (without 'author') to this page at Damian Lewis. So we treat the author as being a misspelling of the actor's name. We thus have two soundalike names with no assistance to the reader in navigating between them. And it is possible someone will request to remove 'author' as unnecessary disambiguation, since 'Damian' and 'Damien' are spelled differently. So it's unclear what to do. How about: Move Damien Lewis (author) to Damien Lewis, thus getting rid of 'author'. Put a hatnote on both articles linking to the other. EdJohnston (talk) 15:04, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- That all makes sense to me EdJohnston. This article is only on a few watchlists now so I don't know how many responses you will get. If you want more input you might post links to this thread at the Wikipedia talk:Hatnote and/or the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation. MarnetteD|Talk 15:34, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I may wait a day or so to see if anyone disagrees, and if not, just do it. EdJohnston (talk) 03:59, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
