How is the false Iraq WTC link damned knowledge? It definitely hasn't been supressed, as it has been implied by the Bush administration to help justify their current activities in the eyes of the public. Additionally it hasn't exactly been discounted so much as proved false. Actually, given that it is provably false, I don't think it can even be called knowledge, damned or otherwise. Anyhow, I think it's an irrelevant fact that doesn't exemplify damned knowledge.

I changed "popular culture" to "dominant paradigm", because paradigm leads into 'The Structure of Scientific Revolutions' and the whole paradigm shift idea that shows how damned knowledge comes about, and how gets rehabilitated into the mainstream.
