The article suffers from considerable promotional material, some of it apparently introduced by campaign workers and much of it taken from Branch's own website. In some cases, all that is needed is for the relevant article to be cited from its original source; for example, a quote from the Dallas Morning News links back to the Branch campaign's press clippings, but could as easily be replaced with a link to the same article from the paper's own site or similar impartial source. In other cases, the advertising-type language (pretty sure "heart of Dallas" is not an official designation of that area) needs excision. Will do what I can, in the interest of Wikipedia's "be bold" guideline, but wanted to highlight the need for editing. Lawikitejana (talk) 16:55, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- The main issue is the poor citations, or even lack of citations. This needs more work to get to a C level article. Bearian (talk) 18:24, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
