Contradiction
editThis article states that Behr was born in 1971 and signed to host the Word at age 16. However, the Word did not start broadcasting until 1990, and Behr did not appear on its first series. mgekelly 12:31, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- Even worse she was born in 1970, and states on her own personal website that she was 16 when she was chosen to host "The Word" Something is not right! Panthro 23:53, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh no, don't tell me - either we have editors citing multiple references, or she lied - wonder which one is the fact? I'll go with the option that she's not quite telling the truth - guess we need to collect the evidence. - Trident13 17:26, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- High Beam says she was actually born in 1974! (http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-88442520.html) That would at least mean that she could have been 16 when she was chosen to star on The Word. Plus there's a bunch of websites claiming she was born in South Africa... although as her official site says "born and raised" in London, we should really take that as a reliable source. Tobycek (talk) 00:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
She was born in 1974 as my friend went to school with her. She is 34 years old. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.195.204 (talk) 11:46, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
The first line states 1974, but she is in the 1970 births category. IMDb state 1970. F W Nietzsche (talk) 03:40, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
She dated Ryan Giggs who she always described as the elder man. He was born in 1973 I think, which makes the 1970 birth date some what suspect in my view. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnGrandin (talk • contribs) 03:04, 10 January 2009 (UTC) IMDb, Tv.Com, dozens of fan sites, and Guardian state she was born in 1970. I'm thinking the "16" year old presenter of a late night show might be the fabrication (the only references to her being 16 are on her official site, profiles lifted word for word, and the Mirror). -- WORMMЯOW 12:58, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
If you go onto YouTube and look for the interview with Ant and Dec on The Word in early 1995, she says whilst interviewing them, that she's 20-years-old. That would confirm she was born in July 1974. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.121.231 (talk) 13:30, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- Behr herself seems to have been fairly consistent in saying/implying that she was born in 1974. However, given that female TV presenters are among the most likely people to lie about their age, and that both 1970 and 1974 are well-represented in WP:RS in the public domain, I'm going to invoke WP:ABOUTSELF. In other words, we can't trust anything she herself has said about her age, we need a genuinely independent third-party source. A birth certificate would be ideal, school records would also do, or newspaper coverage of her being in a particular year group at school. One indirect way would be something talking about her exams at school - a 1970 baby would have taken O-Levels, a 1974 baby GCSE's.Le Deluge (talk) 20:09, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

Nationality
editHello, I have legitimately changed Dani Behr's nationality from English to British, the accepted nationality of anyone from the UK. However, it has been incorrectly reverted back twice. Please refrain. Darkieboy236 (talk) 13:38, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- "Accepted" by who and where? You are claiming a "widespread consensus" that does not exist and attempting to enforce a uniformity that does not exist. Guidance clearly states that you shouldn't change UK nationalities in this fashion without good reason, especially when reverted. You haven't provided any good reason, and have a history of attempting to enforce your personal viewpoint about nationality on articles, for which you have already been warned about. Unless Behr has expressed a preference, or sources agree there is some other aspect about her that strongly suggests a particular nationality, there is no reason to change her nationality. Your stated personal preferences are not relevant.
- You should refrain from edit warring over this.--Escape Orbit (Talk) 14:04, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
