Improving Daniel Diaz (musician)
editThis project started when I found a red link on Daniel Diaz's American Label, I clicked and there we go...
I thought it was easy, copy paste important data from websites, but now I see how naive I was !!!
After 3 revisions-reviews-rejections and many exchanges with the awesome community on #wikipedia-en-help I think that, besides learning A LOT, I did improve the draft very much. I removed many references that were redundant, removed references to DISCOGS as it seems it is not a great source for references, and kept the radio interviews that add much show notability but in French and Spanish, I'm afraid ...
The American reviews are from the 1990's, I do have the scans (paper) for those articles (I included quotes) but no equivalent online unfortunately.
I hope this 3rd revision is finally approved, thanks in advance for your time, whoever generously jumps into this.

Review Nov 2nd 2023 correction by reviewer
edit@Vicpaz after relooking through the draft I was mistaken about the promo but if you could cut down on the number of references and use better formatting, I believe that your draft will possible be able to survive AFD. 4th submission after new revisions, notability and "tone/style"
editAfter a new revision (many good advices on tea house and help desk) I'm submitting again.
After this suggestion on Help Desk "I do not see it as an advert. The tone looks acceptable. All you need to dos to proves that he passes WP:NMUSICIAN and then resubmit it for further review" here what I found and consider good to satisfie Criteria for musicians #1, 5, 10 and 12.
- For 1 there are the press quotes. I removed many from the references becuase a reviewer saw it as "refernece bombing" and indeed, many interviews and media coverage evolved around he same information. Jutr left the important media (Infobae , Pagina 12, Telam, etc for last album) and the old ones from German and USA press (Los Angeles Times, etc)
- For number 5: Has released two or more albums...on important indie labels, Timeless Records (Netherlands), Green Linnet/Xenophile (USA) Cezame (France) and Sonoton (Germany).I was asked by a reviewer to remove ref pointing to Discogs (still can't understand why, but I did remove them) and to the label's release announcements. I cant point the article to any better than the label's announcement!
- For number 10 there are the film and series placements, but for the major ones (Narcos, Ozark, etc) there are no media coverage, only a mention in the credits and some inclusions I referenced to specialized film-music sites.
- For number 12 there for example one interview (1 hour long) that was a full career spanning one, with loads of biographical information. But I included that (somebody's suggestion on the live chat) as a "further reading" link. But it could be a reference to all major bio data in the article. I don't think is great to reference 10 times in the article to the same ref....Then again, you have to listen to the 1 hour interview to find the information (it's in Spanish)...
- Hope this time it is accepted, thanks for your time to whoever jumps into this, cheers VP
