Harmon Greathouse article
editI couldn't find the article entitled "Harmon Greathouse Sr. 1720-1795" that this site references, which is probably the same source used by the other genealogy site too. If someone can find that article, we could refer to that directly, rather than to the two genealogy pages. Skinrider (talk) 19:36, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Misinformation from Eckert books...
editThere has recently been added information derived from A. W. Eckert's historical fiction into at least the Daniel Greathouse and Logan the Mingo pages. I am going to undue this addition. Eckert is not a scholarly, reliable historical source. Please see Wiki's own Ekckert page for a partial discussion of this. TruthBastion (talk) 23:10, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I undid my undo. This entire article I believe needs serious intervention from top to bottom. As stated above, it is currently mostly the fictional account taken from Eckert. Could the person who posted this Eckert material please revert it back or remove it? TruthBastion (talk) 23:29, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I removed the fictional elements. TruthBastion (talk) 04:13, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

editThis whole section openly sources a historical fiction novel by Allen W. Eckert. Is that really something an article in Wikipedia should do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TruthBastion (talk • contribs) 17:48, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
