We honor your proposal. I understand, that you are in California. From there Denmark is very tiny, I guess. For us, I am German living at Lübeck, it is a real big difference, whether we have to cross one or the other of those straits you would like to include into one article. Also for history from the year 800 or so, we need each individual one of those straits linked to viking tours. So we better leave everything as it is and think about deletion of the Danish straits. Or even better: we both leave to the Danish, what they want to merge or to delete, ok?--Kresspahl20:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ha ha, I am in California, yes, but I am English and have been to Denmark, and in no way find it to be tiny, or insignificant, or anything else. And I visit Germany a lot too (I'm a big fan of Borussia Dortmund). I'm in no way one of those American types who don't realise there are countries at the other side of the water! Anyway, I appreciate what you are saying regarding keeping the articles as they are, and perhaps a deletion of this article may be a better idea. -- Matthew Edwards|talk|Contribs21:11, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
