editThie seems to talk more about "Ed, Edd and Eddy" near the end than of the creator. Would someone change that, like remove the "Eds" and go deeper into the creator's history? Thanks, thought I'd ask. ChrisRJ
It was in the original article, and I didn't want to really tear up someone else's work. But I think it's appropriate to discuss the guy's greatest (and so far, only) achievement. I tried to adjust the section, however, to make it more about Antonucci's inspiration, goals, choices, and animation style than about the show, per se. Is there a particular sentence or paragraph you think doesn't do that well? FYI, I'd love to add more about the creator. But there is almost nothing out there about Antonucci (I looked). My brother informs me that there was an episode dedicated to him "In loving memory". Is he still alive? --24.51.94.14 20:36, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Not according to any other source out there. There may have been a crew member who died, so that may have been what the "in loving memory" tag was about Tim1965 22:45, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think you're referring to the episode that was dedicated to wilfred godwin, or some name to that effect --Philo 20:20, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
I think Danny is retiring from cartooning. After 9 years of cartooning, he's knows it's time for him to retire and move on.--168.13.191.66 14:14, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
No, he said, on the Ed, Edd n Eddy Facebook page, that he's working on 2 shows, and he also said he'll work on the movie someday, so he's not retired. Ubuntude (talk) 21:46, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

editwhile the best day edder marathon is on right now, during the interview bumpers with danny antonucci someone should get a picture of him on here. --Philo 22:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Merge proposal
edit- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The article in question was actually merged back in 2011 and recently re-created in august of this year by an anonymous editor who left no reasons for restoring it. I am therefore reverting these actions and redirecting a.k.a. Cartoon back to this page. WTF? (talk) 18:42, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
I've added a merge proposal to a.k.a. Cartoon, to merge the information here. Everything contained in a.k.a. Cartoon is already present on Antonucci. Yngvarr (t) (c) 16:12, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- Although Danny's article is short, he is a person and deserves his own article. Also, we still have yet to see the Big Picture Show and his booth at the comic con. Toonami (talk) 21:38, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- This proposal is a bit stale but I think it's still sound - does anyone object to rolling what little additional material may be at a.k.a. Cartoon into this article? JohnInDC (talk) 17:10, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
No proof
editWe still have no proof that there will not be a 7th season of Ed Edd n Eddy. 72.165.115.67 (talk) 17:54, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
There's no 7th season, Ed, Edd n Eddy has stopped running. Ubuntude (talk) 21:47, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Danny Antonucci's Email
editCan someone give me his public email? I want to tell him to make more Ed Edd n Eddy. Does anyone know? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.105.234 (talk) 10:58, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
On the Best Day Edder marathon, Danny Antonucci revealed that his E-Mail was yak(@)akacartoon.com. StaleCupcakes (talk) 21:10, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Everybody Is Wrong
editThere is a seventh season. I'm just waiting on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruin Cireela (talk • contribs) 16:30, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
more ed edd n eddy episodes please
editcan someone find Danny Antonucci's email address and email to him to make more ed edd n eddy episodes(no pressure)I have been watching EEnE for like eight or nine years already and i don't want the show to end. its not comparable but i think its better than spongebob, why do i say this you ask, i am just comparing it another long running cartoon and the fact that t doesn't have any controversy. ok here is what i mean by more EEnE episodes is i can't let it go or end and again please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.184.6 (talk) 04:30, 21 May 2010 (UTC) Here he said it was mailto:yak@akacartoon.com. --24.111.79.119 (talk) 06:32, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
The show's been ended, best to accept it. I'm a fan as well but Danny wanted to move on. Besides, it pretty much outlasted all other cartoon network series and reruns still play daily so be we should be thankful. 69.247.14.191 (talk) 18:56, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
But now, Ed Edd n Eddy is not in reruns. Ubuntude (talk) 18:22, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
So someone should probably delete the part where it says "but airs on Cartoon Network every weekday at 2:30 and 3:00pm EST". Ubuntude (talk) 14:45, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
The article needs reworking
editSome biased wording in it making it very unencyclopedic. A good example being when speaking of Tex Avery as an "animation God". While I personally agree with Avery being one of the all time greats, this seems very opinionated and not everyone would likely agree. I'd try to do it but I would likely end up rewriting too much. 69.247.14.191 (talk) 19:04, 20 September 2010 (UTC
Universal Uniters
editAnybody know what this is about? Their seems to be really nothing on it.
It's not real. Danny Antonucci said so on the Ed, Edd n Eddy Facebook page. Ubuntude (talk) 20:49, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Somebody was trashing Danny Antonucci's name
editSomeone said Danny Antonucci was "jhsvfdjyvdjsaczsjhs" of Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show. Ubuntude (talk) 21:13, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
Never mind, it's gone. Ubuntude (talk) 20:53, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
Reworking
editLike some other users, this article seems biased and seems to hold too much info about Ed, Edd n Eddy. Yes, I agree that EENE is CN's most successful show to date, but it needs to be taken out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by StaleCupcakes (talk • contribs) 19:38, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

- According to this - Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 74#Is a person's LinkedIn profile a good enough source for what school the person attended? - linkedin.com is a reliable source as long as there is no reasonable doubt as to the authenticity of the page. I see no reasonable doubt, so I will go ahead and include it as a reference. If anyone does see reason to doubt the page's authenticity though, please let me know, and I will be willing to remove the reference.--Jpcase (talk) 14:45, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- It seems you checked if the LinkedIn source is reliable - However, it seems that the LinkedIn page is just a copy-paste from the Ottawa Festival site, which is a reliable source, since its OIAFestival's official site. So that's not really a problem, since the LinkedIn ref can simply be replaced with the OIAFestival ref. :) --Khanassassin ☪ 20:27, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I added a source from Animation Magazine which states that Antonucci worked on The Scooby-Doo & Scrappy Show, however there does not seem to have ever been a show with that exact title. Many shows have been produced featuring Scooby-Doo and Scrappy, so I am not sure what exact series the source is referring to. One might assume that it is referring to The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! as that series is already mentioned in this article, however I have not been able to locate any sources proving that Antonucci ever even worked on that show. Unfortunately, Antonucci's IMDB page doesn't mention any Scooby-Doo shows. Any idea as to which Scooby-Doo show Antonucci worked on?--Jpcase (talk) 21:34, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I believe it's the Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series) as listed in the Filmography section. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. :) --Khanassassin ☪ 12:40, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, somehow I forgot to even check the filmography section on this page. Thanks. Unfortunately though, that section is completely unreferenced. Do you have any firm proof that it was Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series)?
- I've also been having trouble locating sources to prove that Antonucci worked on The Smurfs, Richie Rich (1980 TV series), and The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show. This source - http://www.defynewyork.com/2012/01/16/converse-all-star-meats-lupo-the-butcher-danny-antonucci-commercial-1993/ - mentions The Smurfs and The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show, this source - http://www.kidzworld.com/article/7993-ed-edd-n-eddy-tv-show-facts# - mentions The Smurfs and Richie Rich, as well as Scooby-Doo and Scrappy Doo (probably referring to the 1979 series, but I don't know), and this source - http://www.alivingdog.com/Antonucci_.html - mentions The Smurfs and Richie Rich. The first two sources don't look very reliable to me, but I don't know for sure. The third source is probably legit, but I'm not sure that I could prove that it is.--Jpcase (talk) 16:04, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- The second's source is good, the first one - maybe, the third one - no. Filmography sections are sorta like plot or overview section, you can simply view the credits of the work and see that he worked on it (except if he's uncredited). Sources don't need to be added, only if you add uncredited works or upcoming works. --Khanassassin ☪ 19:37, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm still not sure which Scrappy-Doo show Antonucci worked on. The Kidzworld reference states that he worked on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, however Wikipedia has two articles by that title; Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series) and Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (shorts) (which according to its Wiki page, ran from 1980 to 1982). Meanwhile, IMDB lists Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo as a single series which ran from 1979 to 1983 (strangely though, IMDB's episode list for the series only goes up to 1980). It seems to me that both Wiki articles are actually about the same show, albeit at different points in time. Does this seem correct? To confuse matters even further though, the Wiki page for Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (shorts) states that some of its episodes were part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too!. So was The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! a seperate series from Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo or was it just a programming block?--Jpcase (talk) 01:01, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- The shorts were just a show-inside-a-show, just a part of a different series, while the 1979 series was a stand-alone series, which is the one he worked on. --Khanassassin ☪ 12:10, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- So the shorts were a part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! and didn't have any relation to the 1979 series? Then I suppose the Richie Rich segments of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! were not a part of Richie Rich (1980 TV series). The Kidzworld reference shows that Antonucci worked on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo and Richie Rich, but there doesn't seem to be a reliable reference to show that he ever worked on The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too!. I understand that the credits of a show can serve as a reference, but do we know whether Antonucci is actually listed in the credits for The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! or not? The show isn't included on Antonucci's IMDB page, which leads me to believe that if he did any work on the show, it went uncredited.--Jpcase (talk) 14:54, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- Look. The shorts aren't a series. They're shorts. They would point he worked on the Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo shorts. Believe me. I know. --Khanassassin ☪ 16:24, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- So...the shorts were their own thing; some of them aired with the 79 series, some of them aired during The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! series? Is that what you are saying? I'm sorry I'm having so much trouble understanding this.--Jpcase (talk) 17:07, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- They were part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! and The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour...
- When you said that Antonucci "worked on the Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo shorts", I assumed that you meant he worked on shorts that were a part of the 1979 series Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, but that's not what you meant, was it? So the shorts aired as a part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! series and the The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour series. I got that. You seem to be saying that they didn't have anything to do with the 1979 series, but I asked that earlier and you didn't give me a clear answer. But then, the Wikipedia article on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (shorts) states that the first "season" of the shorts ran as a part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! and as a part of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series) (Season 2), so...
- Again, I'm sorry I'm having such a hard time understanding this. I realize that it probably isn't really that confusing, and that you're likely getting tired of trying to explain it to me. It really isn't important that I understand all of this for the sake of the article, so I'm just going to let it go. The only important point is that the Kidzone reference states that Antonucci worked on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (likely referring to the 1979 series), but says nothing about The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! series. So unless there was a connection between the two series, (I think you are saying that there wasn't, but I'm not sure) we have no reliable references to show that Antonucci ever worked on The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! and since the show isn't mentioned on Antonucci's IMDB page, I assume that any work he might have done on the show went uncredited, meaning that a reference would be needed to mention the show on this Wikipedia page. Unless you know of a reference that I haven't found, or have seen his name listed in the credits of the show, I would suggest removing the show from this page. :) --Jpcase (talk) 16:11, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm going to remove The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! from this page and disambiguate the Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo link to point directly to the 1979 series. If there is any reason that either of these shouldn't be done, please let me know and explain why.--Jpcase (talk) 20:17, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Look. The shorts aren't a series. They're shorts. They would point he worked on the Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo shorts. Believe me. I know. --Khanassassin ☪ 16:24, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Smosh source
editThe article says that the Smosh duo themselves listed it on their website as a cartoon that needs a reboot, when in reality it was just a writer that writes for Smosh Pit, a section of their website for user-submitted content. Frankly, that is such a lousy link farm article that it makes Kotaku look like quality journalism. I have removed the reference altogether, but if anyone thinks it would be relevant, they should specify who exactly gave the accolade. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EmperorFishFinger (talk • contribs) 19:19, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
