Suicide?
editWe have a sentence in the Personal life and death section that says "Victoria Police is treating his death as a suicide, pending the outcome of a coronial inquest." It's sourced to an article dated 16 September, over three months ago. I have searched but found no evidence that any such enquiry has occurred, or is even planned. Are we awaiting something that's not going to happen? HiLo48 (talk) 05:33, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
- This is now eight months. Has the coronial inquest happened? HiLo48 (talk) 01:13, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- The only thing that I've seen other than people speculating suicide was Ricky Nixon saying that it could be concussion-related, but that's in a Daily Mail article, so you can probably take that with a grain of salt. I honestly think we should just remove the sentence altogether until a coronial inquest has happened (if it does at all). 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 05:47, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- We finally have something from Victorian Coroners Court. And it says "suicide". There is also the full formal report - here. Pretty gruesome reading.
- The issue now is how to put this in the article as correctly as possible. HiLo48 (talk) 03:18, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
