Note- The managing agency, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit's website has nothing about Freel Roadless Area, although a search of documents (using their search engine) show references to it. I am not completely sure that this area has not been re-designated into something else. My main sourcebook is dated 2001 I am continuing to research this area.
