Sudanese map in infobox doesn't account for South Sudanese independence
editCan the map be updated to be consistent with Darfur and War in Darfur by showing Darfur in Sudan without also showing South Sudan as part of Sudan? This map is from 2004 and, despite a small tweak to the file in 2017, is outdated. Brendon the Wizard ✉️ ✨ 01:07, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
Crimes against humanity category removal
editCrimes against humanity is a specific legal concept. In order to be included in the category, the event (s) must have been prosecuted as a crime against humanity, or at a bare minimum be described as such by most reliable sources. Most of the articles that were formerly in this category did not mention crimes against humanity at all, and the inclusion of the category was purely original research. editThis statement is no longer accurate. Recent reporting shows significant violence again.

- I really think this article should focus on the genocide in the Omer al-Bashir era, as the RSF recent massacres are yet to be labelled as genocide, and it has a different setting. FuzzyMagma (talk) 16:36, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
Image of janjaweed is unclear
editThe image in the war crimes section for the janjaweed is blurry and it is unclear what info the image is adding to the war crimes section… it seems out of place, a different image would be better that relates to the context more. AskYourselfWhy (talk) 12:49, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
