Restored

edit

As the user "A Link to the Past" removed this page, leaving a redirect, I've restored it. This is due to the fact that Dark Link is neither mentioned in the redirect, and because he is a infamous reoccurring entity. Sk2k52 08:23, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Restored again, and wil lcotninue to do so short of a discussion being held that leads to the majority consensus for this to be marged. Sk2k52 13:38, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Four Swords Adventures Finale

edit

I feel that the information about the final battle, as written, poses some problems. Firstly, this comment discloses an important plot point -which, if known, could reduce the enjoyment of those playing the game for the first time. -I know I wouldn't/didn't want to know about it. Second, this depth of detail may not even truly be neccessary in order to convey the general scenario of Dark Link in the game. Whether or not this excerpt should be revised, omitted, or otherwise, is certainly up for discussion. In the meantime, I strongy feel that a spoiler warning is required, to at least inform the reader of that potential danger, and give them the option to avoid it. Zixor 08:12, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ocarina of Time strategy info

edit

I don't feel that this instance, or many instances, require(s) any specific game strategy information. The reader's need to know about use of the Megaton Hammer or any other tactic isn't really the main point of the section, and may not even be of any particular interest to them. The final sentence, "...forcing Link to rely on more than just sword techniques.", suggests the need for greater strategy without producing those negative side-effects. Additionally, the reader isn't looking for game hints, and may not want to know them. Zixor 05:08, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Exactly, Wikipedia is not a walkthrough and I will be deleting these sections. See: Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought and Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, or textbook. --Tdmg 16:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
