Birthplace
editA birthplace is a one-off, black-and-white fact, and should be sourced as such. We know that Bond is referred to as a "Lancashire referee" and "from Lancashire" but that is where he lives, not where he was born. Bear in mind as well that the Lancashire FA is larger than the modern Lancashire county.
Bond is, curiously, a frequent referee at Burnley, who are as Lancashire as you can get. [1] I guess the county is so large that Greater Manchester/Merseyside has no connection to central Lancashire. Unknown Temptation (talk) 21:09, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
