merge in?

edit

I've never had the stomach for Vfd/merge battles. But, for purely informational purposes, I'll start a list below of possible candidate pages to be merged into this one. Doops | talk 04:34, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

After a couple weeks of merge proposals sitting uncontested on three pages, including the aforementioned, I've merged them in and redirected. Now this page has teams other than Women's Crew finally! -- Smith120bh/TALK 19:11, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I created this page and Dartmouth College student groups persuant to a suggestion I had made at Talk:Dartmouth College. Due partially to the fact that a Dartmouth professor assigns Wikipedia writing as a project in one of his courses, Dartmouth College often has a rich diversity of stubby articles on various student groups and teams. These often get VfD by deletionists, and then merged into Dartmouth College as a compromise. This began to lead to a rather cluttered main article. Accordingly, as a middle ground between "one catch-all page" and "lotsa little nuggets", I've made these two spin-offs. Doops | talk 04:34, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Darthmouth College Ultimate Team inaccuracy

edit

The article states the ultimate team was started in 1965, however Ultimate was not invented until 1968, and Lafayette College formed the first collegiate team in 1970. see Ultimate (sport) - Mattingly23 04:14, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

The ultimate team was also celebrating its 25th anniversary when it qualified for nationals in 2003. That would put the team's founding at 1977 or 1978. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxence (talkcontribs) 21:07, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Only one official color?

edit

The article says "Dartmouth Green" is the color but the sidebar factlist says green and white are the colors. Maybe one is official and the other unofficial. Can this conflict be straightened out?

Men's Lacrosse section neutrality

edit

The final paragraph in the Lacrosse section reads like a promotional article and contains inappropriate language for a Wiki article, i.e. "Let the season unfold." Someone familiar with the school's Lacrosse program should clean this paragraph up; it should be an encyclopedia article, not a SportsCenter soundbite.
