Merged with Operand forwarding?
editThe intro to operand forwarding says it's also known as data forwarding. I can't say I understand what either is or if they're different, is there someone with more knowledge who can say whether the articles whould be merged? - 37.171.53.153 (talk) 11:42, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
I think a merge makes sense for the time being rather than have this stub marooned in its own. Hopefully at a later time editors with more specialist knowledge can contribute, and might decide there’s another material to demerge again. Mccapra (talk) 05:58, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. These are two completely different ideas, one (here) is a kind of generic retransmitter, one is a very clearly defined CPU architecture element. That said, I think this article should not be left as-is. --Викидим (talk) 22:45, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
State of the article
editNeedles to day, the article is in a pretty bad shape: no sources and the subject is of very questionable WP:SIGCOV. That said,
- if the article is not improved, I would support a new WP:AfD and vote Delete;
- I would not initiate an AfD myself, as it actually can be improved;
- I have added some trivial text that puts the subject in at least some context;
- I am not planning to look for sources - but please do not delete my text without deleting the rest of the article (that is also unsourced);
Feedback from New Page Review process
editI left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: added three citations that support this as more than a simple definition.
