IMDB?

Despite the scant bio at IMDB, I'm not convinced that that is the same David Gerrard. It seems highly unlikely to me that someone training to be an Olympic Swimmer in New Zealand should be simultaneously producing a BBC series. Also googlegets zero NZ-based ghits for "David Gerrard" + Moonstrike (and worldwide the only one hit for "David gerrard"+swimmer+moonstrike is from the German IMDB). FWIW, I've also never heard him mentioning working in television (he was my doctor for a few years in the 1980s), but it's probably not the sort of thing that would crop up in conversation. Grutness...wha? 23:09, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Particularly as the Moonstrike episodes were in 1963 when Dave was 18 and no doubt attempting to qualify for the 1964 Olympics!! I think a case of mistaken identity. DerbyCountyinNZ (talk) 00:06, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, I've removed that link. The bio details are his (CNZM in 2007, assoc prof in Dunedin) but the filmography looks to belong to someone else. XLerate (talk) 05:20, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
