Length, details
editThis article appears to be extraordinarily long and detailed, containing the entire account of the Dublin/Monaghan bombings, which have their own article, including a lot of speculation by journalist Tiernan. Ideas, anyone? Quis separabit? 02:59, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think it is too long. The problem with many articles on paramilitaries is that they are too short!! Tiernan's information has never been found faulty; indeed he was the main researcher for Yorkshire Television's The Hidden Hand programme which covered the Dublin and Monaghan bombings.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 14:33, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- You're right about the shortness of many paramilitary-related articles. But I think a problem is that, based on the volatile, contentious nature of the Troubles, the longer you make these articles based on fungible and/or one-sided and/or outdated sources, the more likely POV, OR, and partisanship are going to seep in. Quis separabit? 16:13, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- A lot of the info on Mulholland can be backed by the Barron Report, though.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 16:49, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- No, I get it. I was speaking in general. Yours, Quis separabit? 16:54, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- That is what the talk pages are for. It's good to get other people's feedback.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 17:11, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
