It could be worth mentioning — though there is no Wikipedia article on him yet and I cannot say whether he would be considered notable enough already to have one — that there is another David Bond in British sport: he is (February 2011) the BBC Sports Editor; see for example this story: Can Qatar host a summer World Cup?The BBC's sports editor David Bond travels to Qatar, to investigate whether the 2022 World Cup may have to be played in the winter (15 January 2011) and there are many others.
