The result of the move request was: moved. Per consensus, primary topic. – robertsky (talk) 00:38, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
– The Charlie's Angels actor is the primary topic. More page views than all other "David Doyles" combined by almost an order of magnitude. Schierbecker (talk) 05:02, 31 December 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. Seawolf35 T--C 21:04, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. There are eight men listed upon the David Doyle disambiguation page, with little indication that the actor, who died 27 years ago, has retained historical prominence to the degree that it overshadows the combined notability of the remaining seven men. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:47, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Respectfully, no other David Doyle is getting more than 3 page views per day, while the actor averages 350 page views. That is a pretty respectful margin compared to other primary topics that have been argued at RM. Schierbecker (talk) 21:08, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support Per pageviews cited. I also don't really see anything that the other David Doyles did that would give them any significant notability over the actor. Dantus21 (talk) 04:00, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. No primary topic here by long-term significance. The actor is not especially well-known. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:09, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Primary topic determinations are made by considering both pageviews (WP:PT1) and significance (WP:PT2). PT1 strongly favors the actor, as shown in the nomination. PT2 doesn't favor any particular individual above the others. When both factors are weighed, there's a clear case that primary topic status belongs to the actor. - Support per nom. A very clear primary topic, with 97% of recent pageviews. Station1 (talk) 06:19, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
