Proposed merge with List of David Gandy's magazine photoshoots

edit

I don't think there is precedent for moving a model's photo shoots to a stand-alone list. Too many articles for one person can be unduly promotional. Per WP:LISTN, are David Gandy's collective photoshoots commonly discussed as a group or set by reliable sources, or is this just trivia that could easily be accommodated in David Gandy? --Animalparty! @Animalparty: Actually, I got the idea from editing the article for Cara Delevingne which includes a separate page for her modelling appearances: List of Cara Delevingne's modelling appearances. In my opinion, a model's photoshoots and campaigns is their body of work - not unlike listing an actor's movie appearances. A separate list seemed a good solution.
The existing table of David Gandy's magazine photoshoots is from 2009 through summer 2012. With Gandy having shot at least a dozen editorials per year from 2012 to 2015, the list will ultimately be twice as long as it is now. With 50+ magazines to be listed, I felt they would dominate the article. (Not to mention that that doesn't include pending/future photoshoots and magazine covers.)
My goal was to streamline the main article and make it LESS promotional while making the information available for those who are interested. However, if it violates a policy or is deemed unnecessary, I have no problem moving it. SchoolMarm101 (talk) 01:12, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Animalparty: Upon further consideration, I have decided to merge the list back into the article where it started. My intention was to improve Wikipedia - but not if it draws me into a "discussion." Life is too short. Happy editing. SchoolMarm101 (talk) 02:09, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

And it's now 2019, and this is still a press release, not an article! Terrible misuse of Wikipedia. I'm going to delete this bit of advertising copy: Modeling information Height 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m)[1] Hair color Brown [2] Eye color Blue [2] Agency Select Model Management[2] Ford Models[3] View Management[4] Brave Models (Milan)[5] M&C Saatchi Merlin[6]

It's a start anywayLmlmss44 (talk) 01:56, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
