Note that the original biography posted in the article was from a copyright web site. The disclaimer above (presumably from an employee of Fidelio Artist) is not sufficient. I have now completely re-written and referenced the article to remove the copyright violation and to remove the overly promotional tone of the original.

Note also that Fidelio Artist are the subject's publicists, and as such it is a potential conflict of interest for them to continue editing this article. If they wish to add any further information, they should post it on this talk page first for another editor to review and add to the article. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 12:04, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • I have just reverted the deletion of relevant, verifiable information about the subject by a COI editor (User:Elena Fidelio). The fact that he is the nephew of José Carreras is common knowledge and has been discussed by Giménez Carreras himself as well as by José Carreras in numerous press interviews. Elena Fidelio, please do not do this again. As an agent for Giménez Carreras' publicists, and therefore someone with a clear conflict of interest, it is entirely inappropriate for you to be editing this article at all, let alone deleting/censoring information like that. Please read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. This article belongs to Wikipedia. It is not the private property of an artist or his publicists, and it is not meant to be a PR exercise or free web site for Giménez Carreras. Thank you. • An anonymous editor 81.39.9.129 has just deleted the information again, claiming on my talk page "not because the information is not correct, but because Mr. Giménez Carreras asked me to.". I'm sorry, but this is uncontroversial, relevant, referenced information about the subject and as such, I have restored it again. Why are these editors censoring information which is actually on his own web site? It may not be the case, but it's starting to look like an attempt de-emphasise the "interdependence" of his career with that of his more famous uncle. The majority of the performances he has conducted so far including his professional conducting debut, professional opera conducting debut, and major house debuts have all featured José Carreras. Continual deletion of this information by his publicists, however, is very counterproductive. 81.39.9.129 and Elena Fidelio, please do not make any further edits to the article without discussing and justifying them here first. Also please leave edit summaries, and please sign your comments. Voceditenore (talk) 15:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
