The biography states that David Hathaway was arrested and imprisoned in 1972, and released in 1973 at the request of then UK Prime Minister Harold Wilson. However, Harold Wilson was PM from 1964 - 1970, and again from 1974 - 1976. The PM between 1970 and 1974 was Edward Heath.
