Review comments
editSome suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:
- Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
- Basic biographical information required, including date of birth, education, early positions held, any family details
- Article needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject
- Article should be divided into appropriate subheadings, with material on his scientific advisor role separated out
- Specific information on research should be added, and references required
- References should be expanded and preferably converted to inline format, with references list (not external links)
- External links present which could be used to expand article
- Some pruning of links list (or conversion into references) might be beneficial

Could someone add reference to his opposition to Large Hadron Collider? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.178.0.17 (talk) 14:53, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
David King as a spin doctor for GM foods
editI am listening to a programme on BBC Radio 4 and he is quoting many statistics about the the success of GM, how it can save the starving millions and generally presenting only a positive case. He concentrates his arguments on the safety of eating the products while steering clear of any suggestion that the GM companies might be in it for the money or that they might effectively be able to impose a tax on cultivation by manoeuvring to have their crops imposed on the population. He has appeared in a number of programmes and repeated the same themes.
He is an advocate.
