editAs that's what he's still second-best known for in Liverpool, these need expansion. Just how many were there? The main ones I can think of would be:
- Seamans' hostel
- Seamans' orphanage
- David Lewis Hotel & Club, Great George Street
- David Lewis Workmen's Hostel, "an effort to solve the difficulty of providing accommodation for unmarried men of the artisan class." according to the 1911 Britannica. Was this the "Hotel" building?
