- Apologies, Karbokation. I didn't notice the superscript numbers in the article text and noticed that they were almost all authored by Lemal himself so I assumed it was a list of works rather than references. (You don't have to do this manually – see WP:REFB for how to format references on Wikipedia.) However, they were all references to research papers used in the discussion of his work. None of the actual biographical information in the article was cited as required by the biographies of living persons policy.
- What was really needed was some references to independent sources to verify the biographical information on Lemal, which I see SwisterTwister has now added. Joe Roe (talk) 00:51, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for all your comments. The list of references is in progress, and I am working on it. Karbokation (talk) 01:09, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
copyvio
editThis shows internal evidence of copyvio : "and that intriguing contrast started us on an exploration of fluorocarbon chemistry that endured for nearly 50 years." It is necessary not just to paraphrase but rewrite--nothing whatever may be copied from an outside source. The source is presumably one or more of the references, but I leave it to the contributor to track it down and correct it DGG ( talk ) 01:54, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
