Navy copy
editThis [1] article at NAVSEA appears to be a direct copy of the WP article without attribuion, given that this article has developed to its present level over time. Acroterion (talk) 18:01, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
Birthplace
editIs there a consensus that people born in the Confederacy before the end of the war list the CSA as their country of birth? Since the Confederacy was never recognized by the United States and the United States won the war and David Taylor served his career in the United States military, I would think it's more appropriate that his birth place be listed as Lousia County, Virginia, USA (or, at least, to make some acknowledgement that the legal status of the 'country' of his birth was in dispute at the time of his birth).
