editOut of curiosity: why are Davidoffs prohibited in the US of A? Halibutt 09:52, Sep 14, 2004 (UTC)
- The manager of a Davidoff cigar store in Boston told me it had to do with something like fines or inspection that is required from cigarette makers in the US, and Davidoff just didn't want to conform. He also mentioned something about some lawsuit, I don't really remember (if I did, I'd put it in the article). --Aramgutang 20:07, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Similar atory given to me by a tobacconist in Dublin.... lawsuit, regulators, etc, etc. Might be true, then. Kiand 21:09, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
- But the purchase of Davidoff cigarillos is widespread and entirely legal. I bought some today at Bevmo in California! Cravenmonket 01:07, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Echo
editShouldn't this article have some information about the Davidoff perfume/aftershave? IE Echo at least --Aceizace 22:42, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, yet I think Cool Water (both men's and women's) is even more popular than Echo; you can find it in any perfumery around the world. Maybe I'll work on that later, now I have to study. Cosmetics and fashion are certainly weak points of Wikipidia; there's not even an article for Cacharel yet!--Cloviz 01:23, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Lack of citations
editThere are zero citations for this entire article. The "History" section was not written in an encyclopedic tone as well. I've removed "History" for now. The rest of the sections are also missing citations, but their tone is better. I've left them for now. However, I propose removing them if we cannot find citations in a month.—C45207 | Talk 16:13, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
