editDoes anyone know where I can find non-copywrited pictures for this article? Tikallover 06:18, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- There are tons of Dawn web sites out there, many with with wonderful pictures of owners' collections. I'm sure if you contacted them and asked for permission to use their pictures, many of them would be agreeable, especially if you offered to provide a link to their site in your article. (Some of them may want to watermark their pictures.) I'm happy to share pictures of my collection, but it's not very impressive compared to what you could find out there if you look. If you need help finding sites, please let me know. --Glitterspray 05:04, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Importance of subject matter.
editThe message currently at the top of this article says "This article lacks information on the importance of the subject matter. If you are familiar with it, please expand the article, or discuss its significance on the talk page."
I'm not sure just what is required to satisfy wikipedia, but Dawn is certainly a 70's pop-culture icon. Some of the collecting books and/or collectors' web sites may provide facts (statistics, etc.) about the Dawn phenomenon. The Barbie article (presumably) is a good example of how to address this aspect of the topic. I'd help, but I'm working on some articles of my own and I'm very new to all this! --Glitterspray 05:12, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
