Hi! I have some suggested updates for this page. I’m a public relations professional at NKPR, which represents Dax Dasilva, so I won’t implement any changes myself. I’d appreciate the help of others in bringing the page up to date.
1. In the infobox, please add a photo:
| image =File:Dax Dasilva.jpg
Reason:
Page is currently missing a photo.
2. In the Career section, please add a paragraph to become the new third paragraph:
Dasilva won an Emmy Award[1] as an executive producer on the 2022 documentary Wildcat.[2]
Reason:
Dasilva’s involvement in an award-winning documentary is a noteworthy development in his career that was covered in one of Canada’s most prominent news sources.
3. In the Career section, please add a paragraph directly after the new third paragraph proposed in item 1:
In February 2024, Dasilva returned to the position of CEO at Lightspeed[1] after stepping down from the role in 2022.[3]
Reason:
Resuming the role of CEO at the company he founded reflects a significant development in his career history as reported by a prominent news source.
- Put this in a different location & rephrased to avoid WP:PROSELINE/keep it with the other Lightspeed content, feel free to propose follow-up changes you think this doesn't work. 01:27, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
4. Please add a paragraph after the second paragraph in the Community involvement section:
In 2023, Dasilva partnered with Jane Goodall and indigenous Amazonian leaders to start a chapter of Goodall’s youth conservationist program Roots & Shoots in Brazil.[4]
Reason:
Dasilva’s partnership with Goodall, a prominent figure, is a noteworthy development in his continued environmental advocacy. Adding it will help bring the Community involvement section up to date - it’s currently missing information past 2021.
5. Please add a sentence to become the new third sentence of the Lead:
Dasilva was reappointed CEO in 2024.
Reason:
This is an integral aspect of Dasilva’s career that was requested to be added to the body of the article in item 2.
6. Please update the title line of the info box:
From:
| title = Founder and former CEO of Lightspeed
To:
| title = Founder and CEO of Lightspeed
Reason:
The change reflects Dasilva’s most recent position as established in the body of the article.
Thanks so much for your help with this review.Hindsight1984 (talk) 17:52, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
