Since Dubai and Qatar switch off yearly as far as being a Premier 5 event (for the last several years), usually I see only one row in newer player performance timelines. Older timelines often have several rows to accommodate changes such as the Pan Pacific being demoted in favor of the Wuhan tournament. In that respect these timelines are flexible as to editor preference in what works best for our readers. Either way is fine for me... I guess I like the blended version better in this case but it's personal preference. It's nice to see only 5 events in the Premier 5 category, and her career is listed from 2016 when the alternating started taking place. Talk it out here as to what you all think is better for our readers.
My only problem in getting involved was making sure lesser events didn't fill up the timeline, as that would be against the consensus guideline. Fyunck(click) (talk) 04:30, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
"Dayana Yastremska was born on 15 May 2000 to Marina and Alexander Yastremsky in Odessa, the third-largest city in Ukraine" - The WTA Tennis biography source in the infobox can be used to verify Yastremska's birth date and birth place
"Her father had been a volleyball player and also has served on the Odessa City Council." - the text in bold can be removed
I included it because I'm sure he is no longer a volleyball player, but not certain whether he still serves on the council (hence the "has" instead of "had"). Sportsfan77777 (talk) 21:43, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
"After also trying other sports such as gymnastics and swimming," - "also" is unneeded
"After injuring her ankle at the Abierto Mexicano in February," - not mentioned by the ITF source. Please find a reference that explicitly states this fact
"During the event, she defeated three top 20 players, including No. 12 Aryna Sabalenka," - not mentioned by Tennis.com so another source is needed to verify this portion of information
Overall the primary issues that I found during my read-through of the article concern the prose, the verification of some material that is not covered by the sources and the lack of parameters in certain references. On hold. MWright96(talk)21:31, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
