NFL Pink
editI would like to see information on Williams' suggestion to the NFL to dress players with pink accents (gloves, cleats) for October for the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month based on his mother's and sister's battles with breast cancer. I've heard the commentators discuss this and attribute the apparel suggestion to him, if nothing else on the campaign, and perhaps heard comments he made on the topic back in 2009 or so. grubbmeister (talk) 21:52, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
Cut from the Panthers
editI did a google search for "DeAngelo Williams free agent" and found an ESPN video about Williams being cut from the team. The video's description says "Former Panthers general manager Marty Hurney explains why the Panthers have to wait until the new league year begins March 10 to designate running back DeAngelo Williams as a post-June 1 cut." If I understand this correctly, that means his being cut from the team won't be made official until March 10. Accordingly, per WP:FUTURE, any information about Williams being cut from the Panthers should not be added until after March 10. For reference, this is the ESPN page I mentioned – Majora4 (leave a message) 01:43, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
