The image Image:DH 91 Albatross - Fortuna - Croydon Airport 1939.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Rationale for putting image back in

edit

The image still exists. Its rationale for staying will likely be the same as for the other use of the image (Croydon Airport). It contains a bit of the airport and a bit of a DH.91 and alternative free images may be hard to come across. If the image itself fails the fair-use test then it should go from both articles, and if it doesn't, it should stay in both articles. Either way, I think it should stay here until the issue is settled for the image itself, rather than leaving it on the wiki, but scrubbing it from 50% of the artciels that it's used in. 82.13.80.230 (talk) 00:01, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
