Deas Docks not on Deas Island
editRemoving the comment about BC Ferries Docks. They are actually on the Richmond side of the Fraser not on Deas Island. Wakemp 19:57, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Deas Island no longer and Island
editThis article is written as though Deas Island were still an island. It is no longer and Island. There is no longer a Deas Island bridge, as stated in the article, there is instead an earthen berm at its northeastern tip connecting it to mainland Delta. I do not know when this land bridge was constructed, but this article needs to be re-written to reflect the identity of Deas Island as no longer an island. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.84.185.174 (talk) 03:07, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
We own a map of lower mainland purchased in 1967 showing Deas slough open to Fraser River, no land bridge at that time — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.207.64.197 (talk) 22:58, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
