@Derek R Bullamore and IntoThinAir: I propose to merge Deathconsciousness into Have A Nice Life. I don't believe there is enough significant coverage to warrant an article of it's own; it is almost always mentioned when discussing their later work, not on its own. The Have A Nice Life article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Deathconsciousness will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. Skeptical about merging
editI think you're right that both articles are scant, but I'd say that keeping them separate serves purpose of clarity, really. Deathconsciousness is specifically in the category of albums, and Have A Nice Life are specifically an artist, so unless we've got a way of presenting information on the other albums in the one page of the band, I think it would be messy to combine them. Tell me if I'm being a control freak over this. LordBumder (talk) 19:29, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- I agree with this sentiment. Deathconsciousness is the most significant of the Have a Nice Life albums and should remain distinct from the rest of the article. Despite both articles being relatively short, combining the Deathconsciousness one with the Have a Nice Life would prove to be difficult due to the sudden change in subject without losing a significant amount of information in the cross-over. I think leaving the pages as is works just fine. DontAskMeAboutThis (talk) 01:47, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thirding these sentiments. As scant as the Have A Nice Life article may be, having the comparatively detailed coverage of Deathconsciousness just be inserted into that article would make it substantially worse. At minimum, Deathconsciousness should retain its independence as an article. At most, I could see an argument for deleting the Have A Nice Life article for how bare it is, but even that I think is totally unnecessary and not desirable. Correct album cover?
editAlbum cover #1 that we have here is different from every other source I could find on the internet. I understand that policy is (paraphrasing) that low quality copies of album an album cover constitutes fair use, but this cover seems… incorrect. There is no text on the top portion, and the cropping and coloring of the rest is totally off from how it looks everywhere else on the internet.
For comparison, the album art on their next album is essentially how it appears elsewhere but granier.
I propose that we take a file of the cover art from a more updated and reputable source and make it grainy so it is fair use. (I don’t quite know how)

Band member roles
editIs there any way at all to determine which member played what on this album? I can't seem to find a source but I wonder if its found inside an actual copy of the record .. Lil Sad Lil Happy (talk) 13:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
