The claim at the end of the article that Carter continues to blame his defeat (in the election) on the theft of the papers is referenced only to a book by a Reagan supporter, and to an article about the book (I was unable to find the claim in the article). I don't think it should be in the Wiki article unless supported by a direct quote from Carter.Rose bartram (talk) 13:00, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
The reference to "The Alabama Plainsman", I don't understand nor can I seem to find it in cursory Google searches. Carter was from Georgia and in fact there is a documentary on him called "Man from Plains" so I wouldn't think it would be referencing Carter. There is a campus newspaper called "The Auburn Plainsman". Auburn is in Alabama. Might this be what it's supposed to be referencing? BrakTalk (talk) 05:24, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
