Talk:Dedication of Saints Peter and Paul

Clarification needed

I was unable to understand what this article is about. Is this about the dedication ceremony of two buildings back in the 4th century? Is this about who these buildings are dedicated to? There's clearly something related to November 18, but I can't tell what. I think I understand that there is no building called the Basilica of Peter and Paul and that this is somehow about both St. Peter's Basilica which was built in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls which had it's groundbreaking and consecration in the 4th century. Is there any way that saying "Their basilicas were visited in over two millennia by pilgrims" is meaningful for buildings which are the tombs of guys who died in the middle of the first century and the buildings are based on some action of Constantine the Great in the 4th century? Sorry to express my frustration here, but I tried to clean up the article, but I couldn't understand enough to start. Thank you. SchreiberBike (talk) 07:36, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
