LTC McWilliams was an exemplary commander of the 42d AG Battalion. As the main article suggests, she commanded during the Gulf War; a tumultuous time. LTC McWilliams handled the acquisition of new recruits, the reactivating and refitting of reserve soldiers, and the deactivation of those same soldiers. She accomplished all of this without ever losing her cool.
