Notability tag from 2009 is still on the piece. I believe that the AfD established she is notable. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize 4 times. Her book Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here won the 2013 Northern California Book Awards. She has wide recognition from her peers having been called a master of ghazal, an important voice, etc. She has served as vice president of Radius of Arab-American Writers and her works have been translated into Arabic, Farsi, and French. Based on the "keep" from the AfD and this reasoning, I have removed the notability tag. SusunW (talk) 01:48, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
