Beni salim, or Beni Murrah??
editOk, so Socin writes that this place, called der edschrer, see Socin, 1879, p. 151 is located in Beni Salim. For these locations he uses Robinson and Smith.
Alas, Robinson and Smith have located Deir Jureir in the Beni Murrah region, see Robinson and Smith, 1841, vol 3, Appendix 2, p. 125.
User:Makeandtoss, what do you say? Hasn’t Socin made a mistake here? Huldra (talk) 22:13, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, looks like the only logical explanation.. Makeandtoss (talk) 12:07, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. The Beni Salim area is listed just after the Beni Murrah region, so I guess Socin misread, Huldra (talk) 20:07, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
